Check this website out!  DekaPianoTrio.com

It is to my piano trio website.  Concert is coming up and you are invited to join us in person or encourage us in spirit:

September 30, 2017, 7 pm
Sekiu Community Center, 42 Rice Street, Sekiu, WA

I hold my piano trio members in great admiration.  They are awesome and the music we select to perform is just as inspiring.

Update:

The Deka Piano Trio was a joy to play with. The audience warmly appreciated the concert.

It’s the Season for Weddings!

August 29, 2017

Marlene playing the electric cello

July 29th I played a wedding at Lake Crescent. It was a beautiful celebration, I was blessed to be a part of it!

August 26th I played my electric cellow for my nephew’s wedding in Yakima. I was wired! (I ended up playing more music than I originally planned due to a playlist malfunction on the groom’s computer.) Playing fiddle waltzes for the reception was really enjoyable.

And here we are in Sophia, Bulgaria playing at the PASO Cedar Foundation Fundraiser:

PASCO Cedar Foundation fundraiser concert, the audience

The purpose was to raise money for modified wheelchairs for children with handicaps.  The hall was packed, standing room only.  The Cedar Foundation raised close to 2,000 levs (local currency) for the wheelchairs.  Some Americans there were so impressed that they pledged to donate once they got back to the States.  What  a privilege it was to assist in such a fundraiser.
